In my last post I discussed a process whereby you could increase the Page Rank of your YouTube Channel. I mentioned in that post that I had been told that to increase the page rank of your YouTube channel that you needed to do Google searches for comments on YouTube videos and then to comment on them while you were logged in to your YouTube Channel.

In that post I mentioned that the search term in a Google search bar would be "Keyword String" "channel comments" site:youtube.com/user. I also mentioned in that the article that I was referring to, stated that I needed to comment 5 times for a keyword term, 3 times per week for three weeks, and that the channel that I was optimizing had at least three videos on it.I did that 2 days ago for a new channel and today while searching for new videos to comment on, that URL came up showing a PR of 3. Maybe this was a quirk or a Google Dance, but it certainly got my intention. I am going to keep this process going for the stated 3 weeks for sure, now that I have seen those results in real time.

Now, upload 4 or 5 videos to that channel which have been properly configured videos with keywords that you have optimized your Small Business website for, and a description which includes your site URL, and a succinct statement about your business. Next, go to a Google search and in settings turn off local search, set the number of searches for 100. Use firefox and turn on SEOQuake. Search for: "small business" "channel comments" site:youtube.com/user. Now with SEO Quake on, scroll down the 100 results and pick 5 PR 5 or PR6 video channels to comment on. Watch the video and do a non spammy good comment. Be sure that you are logged into your channel account.
Do this search 3 days per week, commenting on 5 PR 4, 5, or 6 videos a day. Continue this process for 3 weeks and then forget about it. This is what I am being told and i will be back in 4 to 6 weeks to report to you my results.
Now, assuming that you get the ranking, what next? Upload your client videos to that channel and make it a favorite. Maybe get a Veretekk Gold account and get your videos posted on their high PR accounts?
This is truly an interesting concept.

This is, in fact a very good strategy, if done consistanytly with good helpful origonal content. But, like Emeril, the national cooking Chef likes to say; "lets kick it up a notch". This can be done with your writing just as it can be done with cooking. Write those articles, but create an index of them by title and URL which includes where they were posted. As you write mor articles, refer to previous articles that you have written, with a hyperlinked keyword phrase, thereby, "Kicking the link juice up a notch!
Post these videos at various video posting sites, including YouTube, which Google owns. Post the same video with Alternate titles and meta description as many times as you have unique metadata to post. Spiders can read the metadata, not the video.

Conduct a search of local directory sites in your area and become listed in all that are appropriate. This is important for your Google Places, Yahoo Local and Bing Local sites and for overall SEO of your site.

Citations are defined as mentions of your business name and address on other web pages. These "mentions" are important to the search engines even if there is no link to your website. Mention of your business address and name in a classified ad are also citations.
Online yellow pages directory where your business is listed would also be a form of a citation. Citations also arise from a local chamber of commerce, or a local business association where your business information can be found, even if they are not linking to your website. Web references is a synonym for citations.
Citations are a key component of the ranking algorithms of the major search engines. Other factors being equal, businesses with a greater number of citations will probably rank higher than businesses with fewer citations. This is important, as you want your website to be in the top 10 places, so that it appears ON the page, not as a continuation of the Places websites.

As I have written before, it is important to be very careful to insure that the very same, or EXACT business contact information is used uniformly across all citation sites. It is also important, that you first get your search engine places pages in place before you start building the citations.
Also, as I have mentioned many times in the past, you want to build these citation listings very slow, just a few a week. One note of caution, there are several black hat software programs that will do this kind of work for you, making it possible to do them all in a few seconds or minutes. Don't even think about it. This could get your entire website blacklisted on the search engines and it will never be found.

Now, I am going to adopt a two part promotion of this Lead Capture page. I am going to directly Promote the page including its title tag by using articles, blogs, press releases and videos, and I am going to use no competition Niche Market phrases to promote it as well. Each direct promotion has an effort quotient by me of one. I submit one article; I get the benefit of that one article.
Niche Market Phrase Promotion
If I can find Niche Keyword Phrases that have no competition and a volume of at least 250 searches per month, and promote that phrase into the first spot on Google, with a direct link to my Lead Capture Page, then my effort quotient is at least 250. Well let us say that it takes 5 posts to get to the number one spot on Google, and then my effort quotient is 250/5 or 50. The reason for this is that I am getting all of that traffic to my LCP site with much less effort.
I think that is a pretty sweet way to go about it.

There are many tools and many schools teaching this subject, but it is wide open to anyone who desires to step forward, educate themselves and then practice the subject.
One of the easiest ways to find these words is to use the Google's http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/gtrends/ tool. Type in a two word keyword term, which identifies your Niche. The tool will return up to 200 search terms which contain those two words within the search string. Start at the bottom, click on the graph and try to find the search terms that have under a 1000 competition and 10 or more searches per day for the top position.
For ones having fewer than 10 optimized competitive sites, you should be able to promote them to the top position in Google in a matter of hours.
Now for the Grand Slam
find and work 4 of these every day. Now, assume that each one of these keyword strings has a low end delivery of only 10 searches per day. The first day you do 4 phrases that represents a total of 40 searches a day to your site. The next day you do 4 more and viola; do you see what is going to happen?
Now, use the "The Lazy Way, but Highly Effective Method" to promote that site to the number one spot on Google!!!

Most if not all of these services use your email as the address of record. And, most of these services these days require a double opt in list. This means that in order for an email address to remain in your list, the person controlling that address must physically Opt In, give you permission.
Sometimes it is far better to use autoresponders that are not a single source service like those mentioned above. This is true for a variety of reasons. One factor, is that some affiliate programs provide auto responders under a variety of names, such as multisponder, etc., and, quite often the level of service provided equals or exceeds that of the big name services but at a fraction of the cost. One such company is Global NPN. Another is Veretekk. And another is GVO.
NPN is by far the cheapest to start with, but Veretekk and GVO have other marketing services attached to them that are not related to the autoresponder business, but extremely important in their own right.

The term Portal was coined with the advent of the first search system, Yahoo. Before Yahoo we used software called Gopher to find things on the Internet. In so doing they can sell exposure to their visitors to advertisers in the form of banners, ads in their mailings, etc. Another thing that Yahoo does that infuriates me, is they also sell their subscribers' info, etc. as leads to anyone and everyone that wants to purchase them. But that is not my point. It just infuriates me.
All major lead brokers use lead capture sites (Traffic Portals) that attract subscribers. Many smaller lead brokers buy from them in bulk. The whole feeding chain continues all the way to the resellers, buying and selling your personal information as if it was nothing more than a commodity. Makes you want to puke! And
.they don't want you to do it, because they want you to buy their leads. The point is, to market effectively and ethically on the Internet you need Traffic Portals (lead capture sites), that attract subscribers, that not only subscribe to them, but promote them as well, and protect the subscriber from being bought and sold! There are many ways to do keyword promotion for a specific small business page on a specific website. A few of these follow:
Article promotion
Most people who grasp article promotion think that all they should do is write articles and then post thema to Article sites. The title must always contain the keyword that you are promoting. The description should contain the specific URL that you are promoting. If you are a local or small business the description should also contain your businss name, address, and phone number.

News Releases are very powerful in helping rank a website. Do some research on the proper procedures for posting news releases and use them sparingly.
Pictures
Pictures are a little recognized secret weapon. Assemble a lare volume of photographs relevant to your business and post them on prestegeous and high volume photo posting websites. These sites normally have good ranking and spiders in existance. Use keywords to name each of these pictures. Now, when writing articles, blogs or making videos, or any web content, link to these pictures. This ads a lot more backlinks to your effort.

In the Google Places setup, you need to select a Category from the Google Drop Down list for the first category. This is mandatory for good optimization. Then once that is done you may create 4 more categories. Too many words will get you bad rankings over time. Currently local testing and local wisdom says to use the 2334 rule, 2 word, then 3 words then 3 words, then r words. So for Dentist office you may pick the Dentist category, which is in the Google drop down box. Then attempt to maximize relevant keywords within the above formula to provide a large potential categories list.
A set of categories might be:

Sedation Dentist
Teeth whitening Dentist
Veneers dental clinic
Dental implants denture service
Google Places Description for a small business.
The description is limited to 200 characters and you need to use as many as you can, without keyword stuffing. Mention the city only once. Do not use any category words. Use the main keyword only once. Try to make this sound very normal and make something that you would not be embarrassed to have on your business card. If your main keyword is also a category, use other words that when used with that word will increase chances for searches and or use words that refer to the same niche. This way you will not be penalized by Google for stuffing. It is important to never use a Post Office box for an address.

Video promotion
Video promotion is important, and since Google owns YouTube, guess where you should first post? There are over 50 places on the internet to post videos to. Each of these videos must have an optimized title, Description and keywords. Google allows 5 videos on your Google Places site and They should each come from a different location.
Picture Promotion
Promoting pictures is not routinely done by people advertising their businesses online. Google Places allows 10 pictures and they should be hosted at prominent websites. The title tags should also be optimized for your primary keyword phrases.
Article Promotion
It is important to have multiple articles posted at well visited websites which contain your citation and a link to your website.

Now that Google has decided to circumvent users of the organic results with their own proprietary Google Places Listings, it is important to learn about them so that you can join the game as well. It is very discouraging to spend hundreds of hours promoting a site to page one, number 1 or any number from 1 to 10 for that matter, to see Google place another set of listings above yours. They already place their paid advertising leads there. It is quite possible that Google Plus might enter into this mêlée as well?
Join Them
Learn how to set up a Google places Page properly and then dominate both the places listings as well as the Organic listings. There are multiple components of onpage SEO for Google places. For Google Places, onpage optimization is everything that you do ON the Google places page. Off Page optimization is everything that you do off of the Google Places page.
OnPage Optimization
There are two Critical factors here, promotion of Citations and Categories. First, what are citations? Citations are places on the internet which mention the name of your company, the address of your company and the company phone number.
The name of the game is keyword, citation category game.
To play the game to win, you must produce a swarm of links to keywords, websites, citations, categories, pictures, videos, articles, directories, and reviews. In other words we take advantage of all of the tools that Google allows us on the Google Places page. We put up the maximum amount of allowed pictures and we use alt tags for keywords, and categories to point to our website, our videos, our directories containing citations, or ads containing citations, blogs which may contain our citations, forums and, do you see where I am going with this?
Conclusion
Take advantage of all of the content forms allowed by Google to do on page optimization of your Google places page. If you do this and if you do your off page optimization correctly you will defeat Google and have both the Places positions and the Organic positions on page one covered.

Yes that is the title tag of one of my pages which just happens to be the Lead Capture Page for my GVO Affiliate business. The first phrase before the pipe (|), is Email Marketing Management. If I am able to promote that page to the number one spot on Google, I will be generating ~18,100 hits per month to my website. That is the good part; the bad part is that there are 9070 competing websites that I have to beat out. After the pipe (|) the second phrase; Free Email Leads, has a monthly search volume of 2400 and a competitive base of 9020.

Have you heard about Niche Marketing? There is an entire science revolving around the ability to find a Niche in the market, and the science of how to take over that market. The Lazy Way, but Highly Effective Method
I call this the Money word non competition route. This involves the process of finding Niche market targeted keyword strings which have no or very little competition for the phrase. The requirements are three fold; (1), the keywords must be ones that a buyer, defined as a person with his/her credit card in hand is using to search, (2) There must be no or very little websites on the Internet (Google for instance) optimized for those words, and lastly, there needs to be an adequate search volume per month for those keywords to be worthwhile, and I have drawn the line at a minimum of 250 searches per month. Use the Google adwords tool to find niches that have a competitive level of less than 30,000, and a very high volume of searches per day delivery for the number one position on Google.

This One Just Recently Happened To Me.
My Inetekk phone line rang late one night and since I was up I answered it. It was a lady in Hawaii. She had just signed up into my freeffas.com system and since she was very new to the Internet she was looking to me for help. Since it was my Traffic Portal from my Veretekk system, she had my name and phone number as her upline/sponsor/support/etc. So I explained how busy I am as the CEO of the company, and asked her if I could get one of my subscribers to help her. I directed her to someone's Veretekk Affiliate site in the process. But she was not happy about that. She wanted to work with me, and would not be pushed aside. What she was most interested in was the opportunity in that particular Veretekk Market Center. She was determined to sign up into the FXTrading opportunity posted in there. She called me back at least 5 times with interest in that opportunity and the Veretekk system. I am not even in FXTrading, I just stuck my friend's in there for effect. So I sent her to that friend, and have no idea if she has signed up into the FXTrading opportunity or if she signed up into the Veretekk affiliate program either.
